Birthday Book Haul

It was my birthday earlier this week, which ended up not being the greatest day for a couple of reasons, but I did receive some books from my wishlist courtesy of my sister and some Twitter people which was really nice and cheered me up for a little bit.

The Easter Wishlist books arrived earlier but I’m counting them as birthday books as there are only two and out of habit, I tend to class everything I receive or purchase up to somewhere around 16th April as birthday gifts so…

Anyway, that’s a long way of saying I have books and I want to share them with you.

Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón
A Witch in Time by Constance Sayers

With a big thank you to Rachel@ACascadeOfBooks and Charlie@ReadWatchAndDrinkCoffee for their kindness.

Malice by Heather Walter
The Lady of the Ravens by Joanna Hickson
The Conductors by Nicole Glover
The Witches of BlackBrook by Tish Thawer

I haven’t been sticking to anything I’ve read recently (I’m not sure if I’m slumpy or simply losing concentration quickly) and I’m hoping some of these books will help me with that. And now bookstores and my local libraries are open again, book life might start getting back to normal – all nice and good.

I don’t think I have much else to say so I will leave it here.

Have you received or bought any books recently?

As always, thanks for reading and have a brazzle dazzle day!
xx

Hello, I’m Emma aka pageturner92, and welcome to my little corner of the online book world. When I don’t have my head in a book, I’m either working on an endless pile of crochet or knitting projects, playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons, listening to Disney music, or watching my favourite shows on repeat.

  1. Happy belated birthday wishes to you and your lovely book haul! I’ve had a paperback of The Shadow of the Wind sat on my bedside table for a while now but I keep reading eBooks and audiobooks instead 😂
