Life Update and Upcoming Blog Hiatus.

Hello all!

Right now, I’m coming to you with a bit of a life update. I don’t usually share this on the blog because despite what my Twitter ramblings might say, I do believe there should be a boundary between what we do and do not share about our lives, but this time, I have to cross it as it is already starting to affect my reading and blogging.

Sometimes it is hard knowing what I’m saying with my Twitter rambles, especially when it comes to career, job and future life concerns but to put it all in a nutshell, for the past month I’ve been filling in forms, working on assessments, and corresponding with people in the hope of obtaining a place on an intensive Teaching Assistant course.

Well… I HAVE A PLACE!!!

Starting this coming Monday (15th November) from 10:00am until 4:00pm, and then every day until the middle or so of December, I will be working towards a Level 2 TA qualification. It’s an intensive course, taught online via Zoom and everything that one usually covers in a year is being done in ONE MONTH! I’m exhausted and stressed just thinking about it but I know it’s what I need to do. It’s what makes sense to me right now and it’s the pathway into a career I’ve realised was right for me all along.

Where this is going is that I probably will not have the time or energy to work on both this blog and ‘Live Craft Read Love.’ I’ve already been a little lax with it anyway due to being unwell (thankfully just a normal cold), falling back into a reading slump, and becoming more addicted to Animal Crossing New Horizons, but I probably won’t be posting anything else for a while unless past me already scheduled a post or two for December.

I think that is all I have to say.

If you got this far through my ramblings, thank you. I’ll see you on the other side of this course with hopefully a TA Level 2 qualification to my name.

xx

Hello, I’m Emma aka pageturner92, and welcome to my little corner of the online book world. When I don’t have my head in a book, I’m either working on an endless pile of crochet or knitting projects, playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons, listening to Disney music, or watching my favourite shows on repeat.
