February Wrap Up: The Month of Indecisiveness

Hello!

It’s wrap up time and I’ve debated for the past week whether or not to post one because I’ve hardly finished any books, despite trying to read nearly every night.

I’ve been all over the place, constantly abandoning books I’ve started and it isn’t because they’re bad or unlikeable, but that I’ve not been in the mood for them. I’ve lost count of how many books I’ve picked up and put down after a couple of chapters because I couldn’t decide what I wanted to read.

That being said, I did manage to finish two of those books and thankfully, I LOVED them both.

Midnight in Everwood by M.A.Kuzniar and The Tea Dragon Society by Katie O’Neill

I don’t even know where to start with Midnight in Everwood. Everything about it was beautiful, enchanting, magical and even more so for me because I could listen to most of it on audio without tuning out, which is incredibly rare for a first-time read! It’s also the only book I stayed up until the early hours to finish reading because I could not put it down. I might have suffered a bit the next morning but it was worth it! It’s definitely a book I’ll consider re-reading at Christmas, maybe even accompanied by Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker.

The Tea Dragon Society is my favourite graphic novel to date. it is incredibly beautiful and wholesome – the story, the artwork, the design of the tea dragons…I loved it all. I can see this entire series becoming a comfort read too and I’m glad of that because I think I’m going to need them.

And that, as we say, is that.

I don’t really have anything else to add, apart from hoping that March will be a lot better and I can find my feet again.

As always, thanks for reading and have a brazzle dazzle day!

Hello, I’m Emma aka pageturner92, and welcome to my little corner of the online book world. When I don’t have my head in a book, I’m either working on an endless pile of crochet or knitting projects, playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons, listening to Disney music, or watching my favourite shows on repeat.
