“I can’t decide how I feel about these books” Mini Reviews.

Wow, what a wordy title. It is however the perfect description for the three books I want to talk about in this post because they do leave me with conflicted feelings. They are books I read in June that I hoped would be fast-paced, and deliver on hype surrounding them. Yeah…maybe not.

The Bear and the Nightingale.

Winter, folklore, fairy tales, the messages of courage and strength to follow your heart and mind, to not give in to your beliefs…. These are what I take away from The Bear and the Nightingale, and they are what have relieved me from this reading slump.
