Hello!
It is day 6 of 12 Days of Blogmas and to change things up, I’ve decided to create a Christmas bookshelf challenge. Now, this is not a brand new concept as there is a book scavenger hunt on YT, but I get a little fed up of the same questions so I came up with my own. I don’t know how good they’ll be but they’re unique to me so…
Anyway, rambling aside, I have ten prompts to get to so let’s get shelf hunting!
Find a book with ‘Christmas’ in the title.
A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens

Find a book that has a scene set during Christmas.
Little Women by Louisa May Alcott

Find a book that has a red and/or green cover
The Mime Order by Samantha Shannon

Find a book adapted into a film or tv series that’s always on at Christmas.
Call the Midwife by Jennifer Worth.

The series is no longer based on the books but there is always a Christmas special so I’m counting it!
Find a book that sends characters on a magical quest
The Fellowship of the Ring

Find a book cover as white as snow
Lord of Secrets by Brianna Teintze

Find a book by an author whose name is associated with Christmas.
The Cruel Prince by Holly Black

Find a book that you were given as a Christmas gift
The Queen of the Tearling by Erika Johansen

Find a book that’s not necessarily about Christmas but you associate with the holiday.
The Bear and the Nightingale by Katherine Arden

Spell ‘Christmas’ in books.
C – Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge
H – Highfire by Eoin Colfer
R – Ruin and Rising by Leigh Bardugo
I – Iron Gold by Pierce Brown
S – Swallows and Amazons by Arthur Ransome
T – Toil and Trouble edited by Jessica Spotswood and Tess Sharpe
M – Malice by Heather Walter
A – Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer
S – State of Sorrow by Melinda Salisbury

And there we have it! Can you find any books on your shelves that fit these prompts?
Thanks for reading and have a brazzle dazzle day!
xx
